UNDERSTANDING ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is an ancient practice of Oriental Medicine whose history and efficacy dates back over 2000 years and is one of the oldest systems of medicine still being implemented today.

The template and guiding wisdom in this healing practice was gleaned from a deep and sustained observation and immersion into the laws of the natural world. The ancient Masters employed nature as their classroom - their equivalent to our grade school through graduate school and beyond. Those who would ultimately become sages in the art and science of Acupuncture observed that all living things are animated with Qi (life force energy) and that the same five elements that make up every aspect of life also manifest as inherent qualities within us.

“How do I know this to be true? I look inside myself and see”

Lao Tzu
